Resume: interests

We highly recommend including your interests in the resume. Listed interests help readers better understand your culture, your values, the uniqueness you can bring to the company, and what you are like as a person in general.

If your interest is something common like running, hiking, or soccer and you have some notable achievements there we recommend mentioning them. Otherwise, we recommend removing interests that are too common.

If you have more unique interests mentioning them can help the reader find something in common with you, like you, or just get curious about your personality.
